Alps Industries Limited-update on Multibagger Stock

Alps industries is engaged in the textiles business. The Company’s activities are divided into three major segments: home furnishings and fashion accessories, yarn and architectural products. lps Industries Ltd has set up a wholly owned subsidiary company named Alps Energy Private Ltd to make investments in various energy projects. This will be the vehicle for the company’s investments in the energy sector. The company is currently negotiating with several parties for acquisition of allotted hydel power projects in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Alps Industries has entered into a technical collaboration and marketing support agreement with Suminoe Textile Company, Japan for manufacture of automotive fabrics. The project is proposed to be set up at Laksar in Uttaranchal. The Japanese company will provide design and technical support to the company as well as assist it in marketing the fabrics to leading automobile manufacturers on the strength of their experience and relationships with all leading automobile manufacturers.
